LETS TALK.. JAPANESE CURRY!
Hi everyone again! Let's talk about Japanese curry today :)
1. Japanese Curry its different from South East Asian or even indian, thai curries even though they all contains spices.
2. The typical image of Japanese Curry is the Block rue (Paste) version and some of them come in well-portioned out "chocolate block" types for easy cooking. But they come in so many various packaging sizes and forms too!
- Curry Flakes
- Cooked Curry Pouch Form
3. You can adjust and make Japanese curry your own way! For example,
a. Adding your own nice soup stock/ consomme powder/ dashi base/ miso into the curry
b. Enhancing the spiciness and aroma of the Curry, through spices, Japanese curry powder, and even (Japanese Chef's Secret) coffee!
c. Soo many toppings and side additions like pickles (Fukujin zuke, Rakkyo) and Panko fried items like croquette, ebi fry, vegetables, even wagyu beef!
Please have fun and enjoy nice Japanese rice in your own way at home!
